There may be a need to limit the inventory of a specific accommodation to the number of extra beds available. In that case, we should follow these steps
- Configure daily stock of extra beds
- Set which of the existing services are extra beds
- Set the limiting service in the room mapping
Configure the daily stock of extra beds
To configure the daily stock of extra beds, we can do so through the Base Quantity field in the service details as shown below
Alternatively, we can override this value if we go to the top menu Rates>Services and enter the number of daily units available in Quantity (below, 69 units ;) ), as shown below
Set which of the existing services correspond to extra beds
Once we have the stock properly configured, from the property preferences we will mark which service corresponds to the extra bed so that the stock calculations are performed correctly.
Set the limiting service in the mapping
Finally, in the room mapping configuration, we will indicate which service is the limiting one in order to send its corresponding inventory
