PMS Ulyses Cloud
Improvement to "Deposit Pending Payment" report
Filters and information provided by the "Deposit Pending Payment" report have been improved. Now, in addition to being able to filter by creation date of deposits that are pending payment, you can also filter by expected consumption date as well as by payment release date:

Possibility for invoice description to be dynamic according to billed products
A new feature has been added so that the invoice description is not fixed, but is composed of the concatenation of the production groups and subgroups of the products billed on it.
To do this, a new checkbox has been enabled in the invoice type configuration to generate the description automatically:
Improvement in payment automation conditions
New conditions have been added when configuring automatic payments. These are:
- Rate
- Offer
- Promotion
- Cancellation policy
This way, we can better restrict what conditions must (or must not) be met for the PMS to execute automatic charge and card request actions.

Automation of deposit release date calculation based on cancellation policy
A new feature has been added so that, according to the cancellation policy, the release date of requested deposits is calculated automatically:
The two parameters to configure are:
- Suggested expiration release date: Allows you to set the release date as X days prior to the stay's arrival.
- Suggested expiration date as deadline: Allows you to set the release date as X days after the payment request is sent.
The possibility has been added so that when closing a folio, if the invoice type does not meet validations, an alternative invoice type is generated. For example, if a regular invoice is for an amount less than €400, a simplified invoice is generated.
Steps to configure:
In the invoice type, indicate the alternative invoice type in the “alternative template” field:
-Add a validator, for example >=€400 (this way, when attempting to issue a regular invoice for less than €400, an error will be shown and the system will suggest issuing the invoice with the configured alternative type
With the above configuration, when closing a folio to issue a regular invoice for less than €400, a validation error will appear and a change to the invoice type indicated in the “alternative template” field will be recommended
Automatically credit deposits with tax before applying them to folios during check-in
New feature to credit the deposit against the same payment method that was used to generate that deposit, and enter it as the opposite sign to the credit in the client's folio. (Not applicable for receipts and only during check-in, not when manually applying deposits to a folio)
This configuration can be set at the property level:

Thus, when checking in a reservation that meets the above conditions and has a deposit issued with tax, it will be automatically credited and a payment will be generated in the folio:
Option to overwrite product name on invoice above its translation
A new checkbox has been added to indicate if you want to overwrite a product's name when printing an invoice in another language and the product has a configured translation.
Possibility to add “traces” to company and customer cardex
It is now possible to indicate traces in profiles so that when a reservation is made and the company or customer is specified, the traces configured in the profile are copied.
View reservation status prior to cancellation
It is now possible to view the status of a group or individual reservation prior to its cancellation, as long as it was different from “reserved”.
Creation of articles according to their nature
It is now possible to configure newly created articles to be listed from services in PMS or from the menu configuration in EMS. Additionally, they can be filtered when viewing them in configuration.
Mass creation of articles via Excel
It is now possible to download an Excel template to fill out and thus create articles in bulk.
New credit limit parameter in property preferences
A new parameter has been added to indicate a predefined credit limit when creating a new reservation.
Print room status report from “rack”
It is now possible to print a columnar room status report from the rack.
This option “hides” the add payment button on a folio, so that advance payments cannot be added without issuing the invoice.
Chain-level configuration of visible sections in reservation, group reservation, and event screens
This option allows at chain level to hide or show the different sections within the screens mentioned in the title.
New language available for UlysesCloud users
French has been added as a language for Ulyses Cloud users. To work with this, go to your user profile and change it in the language section.
