In this article, we will explain what items are, how to create them, and how to access them.
Ulyses Cloud understands items as the breakdown of products that services can have. For example, we may have created the Minibar service, but if we want to specify which products are in the Minibar, we can do so through the definition of items.
To work with items, we need to understand the following operations
Afterwards, we can add as many items as we want to the services configure their price. From then on, we can select items when adding services to a folio or from Ulyses HSK
Create new items
To create new items, go to

Chain Configuration > Items > New Item and indicate which properties have access to it once created by selecting/deselecting
- From Property Configuration > Item > New Item and indicate

- If we want to add one of the existing items in the chain
- If we want to create a new item for this property
Once created, we will have a record similar to the following
The parameters we need to fill in are
- Code: Indicates the item code. Used for internal classification
- Name: Indicates the product name that will appear on tickets. We recommend translating this value
- Description: Indicates the item description. Does not appear in any documentation.
- Image: Corresponds to the product image that appears as a thumbnail when selecting an item from a folio or in Ulyses HSK
Assign items to the property
If we have created the item in the chain, we can indicate which properties have access to it. To do this, simply select the icon in the main item table from the chain configuration, as shown below
Delete, deactivate, or replace items from the property
Once we have selected the items we want to use in each property from the chain, we can view the list of items assigned from Item in the property configuration menu, as shown below
From this table, we can delete, deactivate, or replace items. If we select the delete option, Ulyses Cloud evaluates whether it is possible to delete the item based on possible dependencies.
Configure item price
To configure the price of an item, go to the service product in which you want to include the item, add it from the Item tab, and indicate its corresponding price, as shown below
Add items to folios
a folio, it is necessary to add a service that has items added. In that case, Ulyses Cloud will display the corresponding notification at the bottom, from where we can make the appropriate selection
Next, we will select the items we wish to add
As a result, an additional charge is added to the folio with the corresponding service. If we click on the icon we will have access to the ticket details with the items that have been selected
