Ulyses Cloud allows you to enter reservations manually. This is a fairly common scenario when entering reservations from channels that are not automatically connected.
There are different places in the app where you can create new reservations
- Create reservation from the Reservations menu
- Create reservation from the Reservation Planning
- Create reservation from a company profile
- Create reservation from a rate, offer, or promotion
Create reservation from the Reservations menu
From the top menu, click on
- Reservations>Reservations>New reservation>Create manually
When you manually create a reservation, Ulyses Cloud generates a blank reservation record where you can select the information you want. Only the following will be set:
- Check-in date: By default, it will be the property's date
- Check-out date: It is the check-in date + 1 night
- Default reservation values
Create reservation from the Reservation Planning
It is also possible to manually create a reservation from
- Frontdesk>Reservation Planning>Create manually
- To do so, click on any date and room without a pre-assigned reservation
The only difference from the previous case is that some parameters will already be auto-filled, specifically:
- Check-in date
- Assigned room
- Room type
- Default reservation values (reservation segment, reservation source, reservation channel, or cancellation policy, among others)
Create reservation from a company profile
It is also common to create a reservation from a company's profile, specifically
- Company profile>Stays tab>New stay
This will open a blank reservation record but with some fields auto-filled, specifically
- Reservation booker, whose value will be the company you are coming from
- Check-in date: Property's date
- Check-out date: Check-in date + 1 night
- Default reservation values
Create reservation from a rate, offer, or promotion
It is possible to create new reservations from the profile of a rate, offer, or promotion. To do so
- Rate/offer/promotion profile>Stays tab>New stay
This will open a blank reservation record but with some fields auto-filled, specifically
- Rate, offer, or promotion you are coming from
- Check-in date: Property's date
- Check-out date: Check-in date + 1 night
- Default reservation values
