For many establishments, it is important to enable a check-in control only if the reservation balance is 0. This means that the hotel guest must have paid the total amount of their reservation before checking in.
To meet this requirement, it is necessary to configure the different payment methods and activate the option that requires payment before check-in.
To carry out this control, it is necessary to assign the corresponding payment method to each reservation individually.

If the reservation has a balance other than 0, when attempting to check in, a notice will appear indicating that the guest must pay the outstanding balance before being able to check in, and that check-in cannot be completed:
If we click on the "Pay now" button, Ulyses Cloud will take us directly to the payment option and a deposit will be made, which will be consumed at the moment we confirm the check-in.
This means that the payment will be processed immediately and deducted from the reservation's outstanding balance, allowing the guest to complete the check-in process.
