Ulyses Cloud allows you to make mass changes to reservations with multiple stays in order to modify the data of all the stays together through the option:
- Reservation Detail > Options > Mass Update
- Select the stays you want to modify as shown below
Afterwards, you can Add, Delete, or Update data in the reservation. Below we explain the most common actions:
- Modify basic reservation parameters
- Add or delete additional services
- Add or delete routings
- Cancel stays
- Change reservation status or type
Note:
This option allows the user to update the selected variable information in all stays, except if
- The stays you are trying to modify are In-house, the arrival date cannot be modified
- The stays you are trying to modify are Cancelled, they cannot be modified
- The stays you are trying to modify are Checked-out, they cannot be modified
Update > Modify reservation parameters
This refers to modifying any parameter within the Details tab in a reservation. It can be useful, for example, to modify the reservation segment of all stays in a reservation or the rate code.
To do this,
- Select the variable you want to modify
- Mark the new desired value
Once the changes are executed, Ulyses Cloud will indicate whether the result was successful or not
Add or Delete Additional Services
In order to avoid having to access the Services tab in each stay to add/delete additional services, we use this action.
Once the additional services have been added/deleted, Ulyses Cloud will indicate whether the result was successful or not
Add or Delete Routings
If, for example, you know in advance that one of the stays within a reservation will pay for the rest, you will use this option. What you would do is
- Select all stays except the one that will pay for everything
- Then configure the necessary parameters for any routing, that is
- Application dates
- Charges to which it should be applied
- Destination to which they should be redirected
Cancel Stays in the Reservation
If you want to cancel stays in a reservation simultaneously, use this option to avoid having to cancel each stay individually.
Change Reservation Status or Type
Note: Before modifying the type of a reservation or the status of a reservation it is important to be sure which of the two parameters you want to modify.
- Status of a stay
- Reservation type of a stay
After selecting the action you want to perform (whether to change status or reservation type), you only need to indicate the new value you want to assign.
