Ulyses Suite allows you to assign segment values in different places in the application. These include the profile of a rate, an offer, a company/client acting as an intermediary in the reservation, and even a default value in the property.
However, the segment value in the reservation follows the following logic, in the following order of priority:
- If the reservation has a Booker, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the company profile.
- If the reservation has a Bill to, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the company profile.
- If the reservation has a Company, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the company profile.
- If the reservation has a Promotion, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the promotion profile.
- If the reservation has an Offer, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the offer profile.
- If the reservation has a Rate, the daily segmentation value of the reservation will be the one configured in the rate profile.
If none of the above are selected in the reservation, the segmentation value will be the one set as the default value in the property under the option
