Bavel is one of the most representative products of the B2B electronic payment industry leader in the travel industry, Voxel Group. The main function of Bavel is essentially the electronic sending of invoices.
The steps we must follow to ensure the integration between Bavel works are as follows:
Configure integration in Ulyses Cloud
To add the integration, you just need to go to Integrations and click on Add integration as in other cases.
Integration configuration
To configure the integration with Bavel, you will need to enter the following information:
- Hotelcode: This corresponds to the client code in Bavel. If you have any questions, you should contact Bavel.
- Select the sending mode
- SFTP (Secure FTP)
If we select this option, the integration will work through file synchronization via FTP. For this, we will indicate our FTP details so that Bavel can retrieve the corresponding files.
To know this information, your system administrator will need to provide it.
- Webservice (Not currently active)
If we select this option, the integration will work through automatic synchronization between Bavel and Ulyses Cloud. For this, you simply need to enter the corresponding credentials.
Sending the reservation voucher
Bavel needs to receive a reservation voucher for each credit invoice that is sent. Currently, Ulyses Cloud uses the following system of priorities to define which value is sent.
- Ulyses Cloud checks if there is a stay voucher and if it exists, this will be the value sent as the voucher
- If there is no stay voucher, Ulyses Cloud will check if there is a reservation voucher and if it exists, this value will be sent to Bavel as the voucher
- If there are neither reservation nor stay vouchers, Ulyses Cloud will look for the OTA locator field value in the stay
- If there is also no OTA stay locator, Ulyses Cloud will send the OTA locator value from the reservation
- If there are no OTA locators provided, we will do the same with the CRS locators
- Finally, if none of these exist, we will send the PMS locator
