Ulyses Cloud makes it easy to add charges to a folio through the following process:
- Access the folio details.
- Select the "Add Charge" option.
- Choose the product you want to charge.
Next, in the form that opens, you can edit all aspects of the new charge. The configuration is divided into charge, commission, and discount.
In the "Charges" section, you will be able to adjust and configure the following elements:
- Quantity: The number of units of the product or service being recorded.
- Product: The specification of the type of product or service being charged.
- Name: The product you are going to charge.
- Display Date: Indicates the date on which the charge will be visible or recorded.
- Reservation Pricing Model Type: Allows you to select between pricing model options, either net or gross.
- Rate: The rate associated with the product or service.
- Price: The cost associated with the product or service.
- Currency (if working with dual currency): If the hotel operates with two currencies, specify the corresponding currency here.
- Offers and Discounts: The ability to apply offers and discounts to the charge.
- Promotions and Discounts: Allows you to assign specific promotions and discounts to the charge.
- Channels, Segments, and Reservation Sources: The option to specify reservation channels, customer segments, and reservation sources associated with the charge.
- Cost Center: Assigning the charge to a specific cost center.
- Stay: Details on whether the charge belongs to a stay.
- Room: Information about the room related to the charge.
- Booker: Details of the person responsible for or making the reservation.
- Bill To: The entity to which the invoice for the charge will be issued.
- Central: Information about the reservation center related to the charge.
- Company: Company details associated with the charge.
- Comments: A space to include observations or additional information related to the charge.
In the "Commission" section, you will be able to adjust and configure the following elements:
- Company: Refers to the entity or company associated with the transaction to which the commission will be applied.
- Price: Indicates the total cost of the transaction before field allows you to set the amount or percentage of the discount to be applied to the total price.
- %: Indicates the percentage of commission that will be applied to the total price of the transaction.
In the "Discount" section, you will be able to adjust and configure the following elements:
- Clients: Refers to the specific clients to whom the discount will be applied.
- Price: Indicates the total cost of the transaction before applying the discount. This field allows you to set the amount or percentage of the discount to be applied to the total price.
- %: Indicates the percentage of discount that will be applied to the total price of the transaction.
Once the product has been added to the folio, you will see how the global balance at the bottom of the folio has been updated.
If you want to access detailed information for each charge, simply select the three-dot option next to each charge and then choose the "Show Information" option. This will provide a more detailed and specific view of the charge, allowing you to review the information associated with that particular item.
