Ulyses Cloud is a web-based application designed to be accessed from any device. In this article, we will explain the fundamental parts of the application and how to access them.

Main Operations Menu
The operations menu is located at the top of the application and provides access to tools such as Front Desk, Reservations, Folios/Invoices, Clients, Rates, or Reports, among others. When accessing each of these, you will find different operations.
Global Search
From the magnifying glass button you can access the 'global search' where you can search for reservation locators, client names, invoice numbers, etc. Matches will appear separated by type as shown in the image.
By entering '%' before the search, you can narrow the results. For example, if the locator you are searching for is 1230001532, you can shorten the search to %1532. Keep in mind that if the query is too short, the probability of getting many results increases.
Notifications
These are alerts that allow us to detect certain actions in the PMS and are displayed with a red circle next to the bell icon , indicating the number of notifications pending to be viewed. The most notable include expired follow-ups, expected deposits, and integration errors such as Siteminder.
Chat with the Client
If this option has previously been activated from the GSP module, you will be able to see chats with different reservations from the icon . This tool allows clients to have a direct conversation with the Ulyses user either before arrival, during their stay, or even after check-out.
Access to Browsing History
Ulyses Cloud stores all browsing history for each user tab, allowing quick navigation and access to different sections.
To access it, click on the icon in the top menu, from where you can open the desired history section either in the same tab or in a new tab.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Ulyses Cloud allows you to access operations without having to navigate through the various menus, thanks to keyboard shortcuts. To find out which keyboard shortcuts exist, go to
- Top Menu > User Profile Access > Keyboard Shortcuts
Access to Property and Chain Settings
Ulyses Cloud allows you to create or modify property information through property and chain settings. Since this is a platform capable of managing independent properties and hotel chains, there is information that must be created or modified at the chain level so that it extends to the property. Other entries must be modified or configured directly from the property.
To access property and chain settings
- Top Menu > Settings
From here you can access editing of the chain and/or property, depending also on the user's role:
Access to Integrations
To access all integrations that communicate with your property, go to:
- Top Menu over the Property > Integrations
Access to My Profile Settings
To access the user profile information you are using, go to
- Top Menu > User Menu > My Profile
From the user settings you can:
- Change basic user data and Ulyses Cloud language (Overview)
- Change thumbnail image (Thumbnail)
- Configure user date format and time zones
- Change account password
Basic User Data
- Email: Email account linked to the user, which will receive all notifications sent by Ulyses Cloud
- Application language: The language in which the application is displayed to the user
Change Thumbnail Image
This refers to the image that characterizes the user. By default, if no image is associated, Ulyses Cloud will create a thumbnail with the first two characters of the username. However, by clicking on the thumbnail, you can upload a new image.
The thumbnail will then be displayed in the navigation bar and other places in the application
Change Account Password
The user can force a password change for their account through
- Options > Change password
email inviting them to change their password
Access to Cash Registers
The user operating in Ulyses Cloud can have access to one or more cash registers via the icon in the Top Menu.
