What is an expected deposit?
The 'Expected' deposits are used to indicate that the deposit will be invoiced upon arrival of the reservation.
Many OTAs offer the possibility to work in this way. They are the ones who charge the guest directly and do not send the money to the hotel until the guest arrives.
The payment is made through a virtual card or bank transfer.
The hotel is the one who has to issue the invoice and give it to the guest, and must reflect it in the invoice in some way.
Therefore, Ulyses Cloud has developed an option for these cases.
The property will decide how it wants to reflect this on the invoice, whether as a payment method or as a deposit.
