Ulyses Suite allows you to create a group booking series from an existing group booking through the group series option, which can be found in
- Group Detail > Options > Group Series
By clicking on this option, in the same way as with individual bookings, we will get the following dialog where we can specify:
- Options to copy: allows you to select which options from the original group booking you want to copy into the series. For example, the block, group services, routing...
- Individual bookings: If the option to "copy individual group bookings" is activated, the new series will be created including the individual bookings that were already broken down and not canceled at the time of making the series.
- Status of the new series: Allows you to specify the status that the newly created series should have.
- Series: to create the series, we need to define:
- Quantity: Indicates the number of new bookings we can create
- Periodicity: Only if Quantity>1 and indicates the interval between arrival dates of the new bookings
- Arrival/departure dates: In this field, you must indicate the dates of the new group booking; by default, the dates of the original group booking appear filled in.
- Option to update prices: When creating a group reservation series, you can define how prices should be handled by choosing between automatic updates or keeping existing amounts.
- Update prices: applies current rates prices to reflect up-to-date conditions.
- Keep original prices: duplicates amounts as-is to ensure consistency with the source reservation.
This option enhances pricing flexibility and control, allowing you to adapt to operational needs.
