The purpose of this article is to explain what room features (facilities) are and how to create them and assign them to the corresponding rooms.
Room features are all the elements that can be found in a room, from the TV to the Air Conditioning. The features appear as additional information in the information of each space in the Rack or in the Planning, and are of great value for the pre-assignment of rooms.
To be able to select which features a room has, we need to know how to
Create and assign room features
To create a new room feature, go to
- Chain Configuration > Room Features > New Feature and indicate which properties have access to this feature
- From Property Configuration > Room Features > New Room Feature and indicate if you want to
- Add one of the existing features in the chain
- Create a new room feature in this property
The record of a room feature includes:
- Feature code
- Full name of the feature: It will later appear in the feature selection in the rooms so we recommend translating it
- Feature description: This corresponds to any additional information you want to include
Once created, you will be able to select in which properties each of them can table.
Add features to rooms
To add features to each of the rooms, besides having created the rooms previously, you simply need to select which features each of the rooms you are creating has from its corresponding section.
