Ulyses PMS is integrated with the Delta document reader, a powerful scanner capable of recognizing hundreds of document and passport formats in just a few seconds. To set up Delta devices, we will go through the following process:
- Connect the scanner to the computer
- Activate the integration
- Configure reading devices
- Test the devices
Activate DeltaID Integration
If you want to activate this integration, just go to the "Integration" section within the main menu of the Property.
And then we will activate the integration for Delta
Configure Reading Devices Now you just need to add as many devices as you need:
Device Test Click the "PING" button on each of them to verify that the system recognizes the devices and that they are properly connected.
If you have problems at this point, do not hesitate to contact your network administrator to make sure the URLs are correct. Once the devices are properly connected, we need to check the connection. To do this, you just have to create a new client and the Scan button will appear.
Reading Both Sides of the Document If you need the Delta scanner to read both sides of the document, the provider (Delta) will need to perform a specific configuration. Once completed, the PMS will prompt you to flip the ID document before uploading the data to the system, displaying the following message between sides:
