For allotments with the "By quantity" model, from the allotment availability tab, you can add or remove accommodation types associated with the allotment, view the allotment modification history, update availability, and close sales.
Add or remove a type to the allotment
Add or remove types to the allotment
- In the availability section, look for the option "Add or remove a type" which is located next to the bulk update button.
- Click the dropdown arrow that appears next to this button.
- Select the option "Add" or "Remove" a type, depending on what you want to do.
- If you select "Add", a field will open where you can enter the type you want to add to the allotment. Type the name of the type and then save the changes.
- If you select "Remove", a list of types currently associated with the allotment will be displayed. Check the type you want to remove and save the changes.
Modification history
- In the same place where you found the option to add or remove types, look for the option "Modification history".
- Click on this option to access the modification history.
- In the displayed list, you will be able to see all changes made to the allotment, including details such as the date and time of the modification, the action performed, and the user who made the change.
- You can also filter changes by accommodation type or by date.
Bulk update
From the bulk update field, you can make changes to different aspects of your allotment simultaneously. These changes can include:
- Quantity: You can update the total quantity of accommodations assigned to your allotment. For example, if you need to increase or decrease the number of accommodations available for booking during a specific period.
- Available quantity: You have the option to adjust the number of accommodations available for booking on a given day. This allows you to control real-time availability and make quick changes based on demand.
- Release days: You can modify the release days, that is, the days when the allotment is released and becomes available again after being used by a company or a client.
- Close sales: If you want to temporarily stop sales for the allotment, you can use the close sales option. This indicates that the allotment will not be available for bookings during the selected period. To close allotment sales, you will find two checkboxes associated with this option. By checking both boxes, you indicate that you want to close sales of the allotment on the specified dates.
