Just as we have learned to set up daily prices and conditions for a rate, we can do something very similar with offers and promotions. Specifically, we can modify the daily configuration of closures, CTA, CTD, and Max/Min Stay for each room type and their occupancies.
In this way, if we want to launch an offer for a rate only for a series of accommodations and during specific dates, we can easily do so by creating offers.
To configure an offer correctly
- Add and delete accommodations (Add and delete product)
- Update offer conditions (Bulk update)
- Consult the history of changes in availability (History log)
- Consult general changes in the offer (Activity Stream)
- Delete, Activate/Deactivate, and Replace values
Add and Delete Accommodations
If we create an offer from scratch, we will have to add accommodations to it. On the other hand, if we want to reuse an existing offer and want to modify it, we may need to delete (or add) accommodations.
In any case, for either scenario, we can add all occupancies of each accommodation or add them individually, as we prefer.
Note
Please note that we cannot delete accommodations that are already assigned to reservations
Update Conditions (Bulk Update)
For example, we have offers activated for the week of 10/25
From bulk update, we select to close sales of this offer for all accommodations from 10/25 to 10/27
After accepting the changes
Consult Changes to Conditions (Action History)
To consult changes related to closures, min/max stay, CTA, or CTD for specific dates, we must do so through the action history, located in the additional options
Consult General Changes (Activity Stream)
From Activity Stream, we can consult all changes to offers and/or promotions that do not affect availability conditions, but rather have occurred in the Settings tab.
