In Ulyses Cloud, meal plans, also known as "board," are the meal regimens we can offer in reservations. These meal plans are made up of a combination of related services.
Create a New Meal Plan
To create a new meal plan in Ulyses Cloud, follow these steps:
From Chain:
- Access the chain configuration by selecting "Chain Configuration".
- Navigate to the "Product" section and select "Meal Plan".
- Click on "New Meal Plan" to start creating a new meal plan.
- If you want to assign the meal plan to specific properties, select the corresponding properties by checking the box next to each one. You can choose which properties will have access to this new meal plan by selecting or deselecting them.
- Once you have selected the properties, save the changes.
From Property:
To add an existing chain meal plan or create a new meal plan for a specific property in Ulyses Cloud, follow these steps:
- Access the property configuration by selecting "Property Configuration".
- Navigate to the "Product" section and select "Meal Plan".
- Click on "New Meal Plan" to start creating a new meal plan or select an existing chain-level meal plan from the dropdown list if you want to add it.
- If you are creating a new meal plan, provide the necessary details such as name, description, and other relevant parameters for the meal plan.
- Save the changes once you have set up the meal plan according to your needs.
Please note that this configuration applies to a specific property and will allow you to add an existing chain meal plan or create a new custom meal plan for that particular property.
Product Breakdown in Meal Plans
The product breakdown in meal plans refers to the composition of products that make up each meal plan available in Ulyses Cloud. For example, in the case of half board, it is made up of the combination of two products: breakfast and dinner.
Each meal plan can consist of one or more services, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, among others. These services are grouped to create the different types of meal plans offered, such as full board, half board, or all-inclusive.
The product breakdown in meal plans allows you to set the prices and rates corresponding to each meal regimen, and even the breakdown of each of these products that make up each meal plan.
To configure the breakdown of a meal plan, once created, select the meal plan in question and break down the products.
